Our gymnastics programme is suitable for both children who have never done any gymnastics before as well as those who want to expand their skill set and enter competitions. It’s a great choice of activity to keep your children fit and active whilst improving their overall confidence.

We split our classes by age and gender 4-7yrs ,8-12yrs and 11yrs+. The children are then grouped by age/ability within the session. Our girls focus on floor, vault, beam and bars, and our boys work floor, vault, high bar, p-bars and rings.

MGC Progress Levels

During our classes, children work towards the MGC Progress Levels, where they earn a certificate and medal for each level they pass starting from Level 1 up to Level 10.

Uniform

The children in our gymnastics programme have the opportunity to take part in at least one competition and two shows per year, however this is completely optional and we allow our gymnasts the flexibility to choose which events they would like to work to. Please note those who take part in any club events will require the club uniform.

***BEGINNER classes run alongside Derby City Council school term dates and are payable in advance of a term. Due to extremely high demand, we cannot offer trial sessions and classes must be booked in a block advance payment.

*** RECREATIONAL classes are full time and run continously throughout the year except for 2 weeks at Christmas when we close. Payments for these classes are by monthly standing order and should be received by the 4th of every month. Please note the 2 week shutdown is taken into account when calculating monthly fees.
